Hello Escritori,
So I’m cheating a little but to a purpose, a writerly purpose, because I’m doing a music post.
I’ve just got this song on repeat a lot at the moment and I thought I’d share it with all of you as it is very chill and easy to pick up lyrically. This accidental discovery of music happens regularly enough to me but still with gaps long enough for it to be a sheer delight of discovery each time it happens.
For anyone who is interested, when she switches languages Zahra is speaking Arabic, but I’m afraid I don’t have much Arabic. There’s of course the obligatory mention of ‘darling’ otherwise it wouldn’t be an Arabic love song would it?
How does this link to wordsmithery? I wondered do you keep music to scribble to? I used to sometimes go to 8 tracks to make new discoveries but now I’m very behind on streaming services and playlists etc.
I’m doing my first ever book review for the blog on Thursday, on The Witches of Cambridge by Menna van Praag so stay tuned for that. For now, Happy Tuesday. Enjoy!
Keep scribbling,
~ Pola ~
Don’t you love finding a new song that’s worth being on repeat all the time. 💕

Love the song. I do, in fact, keep music to scribble to. I’ve got a playlist for every large project. Can’t wait to read your review, by the way.
